Polysack presents live demo at AWA heat-shrink sleeve-label workshop

June 23, 2014

June 24-25, 2014, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Plymouth, Minnesota

The AWA (Alexander Watson Associates) Introduction to Heat-Shrink Sleeve-Label Technologies Conference, an interactive workshop that will focus on the production and application of heat-shrink sleeve labels, will also provide updates on the latest technological developments, manufacturing processes and applications in this fast-evolving industry. The workshop will take place June 24-25, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Mr. Rony Ben-Shoshan, senior product manager at Polysack Flexible Packaging –a sponsor of the workshop – will present materials recently introduced in the heat-shrink RFS-label market, showcasing shrink ratios from 35% to 60%. The presentation will include a live demo exhibiting how Polysack film is applied in a labelling machine.

Learn how RFS technology yields a 30% saving compared to conventional sleeves: as the film runs on the conveyer belt in the same direction as the bottles, the sleeves are produced simultaneously, which increases labelling speed, eliminating sleeve production and inspection steps.

Find out about the advantages of Polysack film over other RFS film manufacturers: as the lightest-weight recyclable MD-film in the world, Polysack film yields less than 1% scrap, and is supported by all label-seaming technologies today.
